E-Mail art directly to our art department: firstname.lastname@example.org or use the "ART" tab under Distrubutors. Please include company name, phone number, contact name, and purchase order number for prompt and accurate response.
ACCEPTABLE FORMATS: Color separated vector based artwork (resolution independent) compatible with PC platform. Preferred format: Adobe Illustrator CS with no placed images and all text converted to outlines.
Paper based artwork accepted subject to approval, additional charges may apply. Multiple color artwork should be sent as composite and color separated.
UNACCEPTABLE FORMATS: Include, but are not limited to CorelDraw, Powerpoint, Microsoft Work, PageMaker. Low resolution pixel based files (ie. GIF, JPEG, BMP, TIF, DOC) are not usable. Artwork created for web use will not work.
EDITING & SPECIAL GRAPHICS SERVICES: Camera ready artwork is required. If you are unable to provide camera ready artwork we can provide an outsourcing service. The following costs are guidelines for this service. 1-color recreates $15 net. Multi-color recreates $40 net. Paste up or changes from original artwork charged based on complexity, $15/v minimum. Our in-house art department is available for special design & production needs at $120/v per hour, half hour minimum.
IMPRINT SIZE: Artwork is printed at maximum size unless otherwise requested. Depending on the design, some logos may need to be printed at a smaller imprint size than listed in this catalog.
Orders with imprints that exceed our recommended size are subject to additional charges including excessive loss of product.
BLANK ITEM ORDERS
Unimprinted Items are priced at EQP less than published price for specific quantity. Blank items normally ship within 24 hours. Same day shipping can be requested and will be accommodated subject to stock availability, credit approval and time order is received at our office.
Orders canceled after our acceptance will be charged a cancelation fee of $30/v plus the costs incurred at time of cancelation. Cancelations of non-stock or special order items are not accepted.
Catalogs are always free at Alpi. Catalogs are sent by US Media mail at our expense. Please provide your account number If you want to receive catalogs by an alternate shipping method.
CLAIMS AND RETURNS
FREIGHT CLAIMS: ALPI cannot be responsible for delays or damages en route. Claims must be placed by the purchaser with the carrier.
OTHER CLAIMS: All claims must be placed within 20 days from shipment and must have a return authorization number. Claims filed after 20 days will be considered on a case by case basis regarding reprints, discounts, etc. Blank CLAIMS: A 10% restocking fee applies to return of blank items.

Our print shop gives priority to printing our product for your orders. However we may be able to print on other products depending on our schedule. Call for availability. The charges are: $78/v set up charge per color, $0.50/v running charge for 100 pieces per color, $0.36/v running charge for 500 pieces per color, $0.30/v running charge for 1000 pieces per color. These prices are guidelines; please send a sample of the product for testing. Pricing/additional charges (unpacking, etc.) will be confirmed based on quantity and degree of difficulty.
All custom stress relievers must be quoted individually.
Submit image and proposed size for exact quote. Quote typically takes two days. Additional costs will be explained. In addition to the per piece cost, every custom item incurs the following additional costs:
1) Tooling cost $750/v
2) Sample and proof cost $250/v
3) Additional artwork or production changes after the first sample is approved will result in additional charges.
Upon approval of the price quote, you must submit a firm Purchase Order so we can start creating the clay sculpture. Sculpting cannot begin without a firm PO. Prepayments and/or credit approval is required. The sculpt will not be in color but will show the size and shape of the custom item. This part of the process takes about two weeks.
After sculpture approval, Alpi will create a full color sample in the final Squeezie material. We recommend the customer receive a physical sample before approving it. This sample is included in the costs mentioned above. Alpi will provide a digital image of the sample first. This part of the process may also take two weeks.
When you and your customer approve the final sample, Alpi will begin production, which takes about 4 weeks. Shipping time is estimated at up to 4 weeks for ocean transit, 1 week for air freight.
If the customer cancels the order any time after the sculpt is made they will incur the following costs:
1) If after the sculpting, but prior to the sample creation: $ 300/v
2) If after creation of sample but prior to approval: $ 600/v
3) Because the cost of our tooling is a sharing cost only, and not the total price of it, Alpi reserves the right to reproduce the custom items and/or use them in our future collection, unless a different agreement is made with the customer.
CUSTOM COLOR:If a custom color is requested no additional charges will be incurred, other than PMS color matching charges. The Minimum Quantity for a custom color item is 3,000 pieces. Smaller quantities can be made, but the price will be higher and will need to be quoted at the time of the order. Production times may vary.
ENGRAVING:Most wooden items can be engraved. Add $45/v set up plus $0.60/v or $1.20/v running charge. Cost determined by size and weight of item. Additional production time required for engraving orders.
Our standard minimum for imprinting is 150 pcs. Below minimum charges: Add $65/v, subject to approval (under 100 pieces shipped un-imprinted only). No minimum on unimprinted items.
OVERRUNS AND UNDERRUNS
We make every effort to ship the quantity requested. Overruns or underruns of up to 2% will be shipped and billed accordingly. If exact quantity is requested, an underrun may result.
SQUEEZIES(R) stress relievers are normally bulk packed. Specific polybag or other packing requests by customer will incur a $0.15/v per piece charge. Carton sizes listed are for reference only.
PMS/NON STANDARD COLOR MATCHING
Add $ 35/v charge.

IMPRINT AREAS: Areas shown are guidelines and may vary based on artwork and product.
COLORS OF IMPRINTING: Standard colors are shown below. Add $0.15/v per piece for metallic ink. Metallic ink not available on all items. Other colors, PMS color matches and two color printing subject to artwork approval. Imprint colors may print differently depending on the color of the product. Absolute color match cannot be guaranteed on all surfaces. If an exact match is critical, request a pre-production proof.
MULTI COLOR / MULTI LOCATION PRINTING: See running charges.
PRODUCT UNIFORMITY: Colors or design of stock items may vary slightly from one order to the next. Imprints are pad printed and adjusted by hand-eye coordination. We cannot guarantee total uniform imprint on each product. Every effort is made to keep imprints as consistent as possible. Density of Stress Relievers may vary due to material properties.
PRE-PRODUCTION PROOFS OR SAMPLES
Camera ready artwork is required. We supply one paper proof at no charge. Changes made to initial proof will incur a $15 net charge per change. On the paper proof you will see and approve the location and size of the imprint. Paper proofs must be signed before we begin production. Imprints shown on paper proof are at maximum imprint size.
Pre-production samples are available upon request. They are recommended for custom and import orders, when time allows.
Domestic pre-production samples cost $80/v. Custom/Import samples are billed at our cost, generally $250/v.
Imprinted product: 4-5 working days. 1 or 3 Day rush service: Please see Rush Service.
Non-imprinted product: Normally ships within 24 hours.
Running charge for the first color/location imprint is included in the price. Additional imprint colors or locations will incur a charge of $0.28/v per piece for quantities under 1,000 pieces. Quantities over 1,000 pieces will be charged $0.20/v. A set-up charge of $40/v will be charged for each color/location.
1 Day Rush: add 30% of the original cost per piece.
2 Day Rush: add 15% of the original cost per piece.
3 Day Rush: available at no cost.

• Maximum quantity allowed for rush service is 2,500 pieces, unless otherwise noted.
• Quantities under 150 pieces will incur a below minimum charge ($65/v)
• Inventory levels or print shop capacity may limit rush service availability
• Purchase order, camera ready artwork and signed paper proof must be in our hands to start of production
• Proof edits will delay production
• Any information (orders/camera ready artwork/payments/etc.) received after 12 noon Pacific Time will cause the order to move to the next business day for production.
• Rush orders are accepted only from accounts with established credit in good standing or full prepayment is required at time of ordering.
In accordance with California law, goods shipped to an address within California will be charged sales tax unless the purchaser has a resale permit issued by the California Board of Equalization and has provided Alpi with a valid resale certificate. Contact your sales rep. prior to ordering for instructions on how you may qualify for an exemption from the tax.
Samples are always free, just supply us with a UPS or FedEx account number for your desired shipping method. If you have a firm in-hands date for your sample please specify when providing your shipping method. Sample requests must be in writing and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. A tracking # will be provided after shipping.
A set-up charge of $ 40/v will be charged for each color. Setup charge for exact reorders will be $15/v. If previous artwork is lost or unavailable, new art must be provided.
Due to fluctuations of the fuel surcharge and freight classifications, ALPI cannot be held responsible for the difference between estimated freight charges and actual freight charges.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: All international shipments must be billed on a third party shipping account number provided by the customer and must ship via UPS of FEDEX. All charges, including duties and taxes, as well as incorrect address and residential delivery charges unpaid by recipient, will be billed net to distributor.
SHIPPING METHOD: Orders will be shipped by the method indicated on the Purchase Order and billed accordingly. Account number required for carriers other than FedEx ground.
FOR DHL SHIPMENTS: Customer must arrange for shipment pick up, provide account number and add cost of $10/v per carton.
FOR USPS SHIPMENTS: Add $5/v per carton.
DROP SHIPMENT AND SPLIT SHIPMENT: Add $8/v for each additional location.
INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESSES: If an incorrect address is provided you will incur a charge of $ 20/v plus carrier charges.
CHANGES TO SHIP METHOD OR ADDRESS: If within 48 hours of shipping, must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by ALPI.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Net 30 days within credit limits for active customers in good standing. Terms for new accounts and accounts inactive for over 1 year are 50% prepayment with balance on Net 30 with approved credit. Full Net 30 terms may be obtained following third order, subject to credit approval. We accept Visa, MasterCard and AMX.
RETURNED CHECKS: A $25.00 service charge will be applied, and terms may be changed to prepayment for future orders.
